Heather Provencher joined the TriCities.com community in December 2008 to coordinate content for our news team. She began her work in the communications industry as the Online Editor and Reporter for the Jonesborough Herald & Tribune. Originally from Kingsport, TN. Heather has lived in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida and Oregon before returning home to finish school at East Tennessee State University where she majored in English with two minors: one in anthropology and another in journalism.
